Sunset Beach
Sunset Beach Park is one of the longest sand beaches
on Oahu running two miles in length and 200-300 feet wide and
is also one of the better surfing sites on Oahu, if not in the
world. During the winter Sunset Beach boasts waves fifteen to
twenty feet. Large summer swells may also be found at Sunset
beach.
During the summer months when the ocean is calm
Sunset beach has crystal clear water and beautiful white sand.
The beach is great for swimming and snorkeling. Sunset beach
has wonderful tide pools great for collecting shells and observing
the wonders of nature.

If you are not familiar with Sunset beach and
have concerns about safety consult the lifeguard on duty. Always
use common sense if waves are huge do not go in the water. Sunset
beach has powerful waves and strong undertow during winter season
so be safe. Parking is only available on the street but it's
free.
